Directing the whole show

Chloe co-directed the production, sharing every decision about how the story played on stage.

Cluedo lives or dies on clarity and timing. Six suspects, a growing body count and a single room means the audience has to follow who's who, who's where and who might be lying, while still laughing. As co-director, Chloe shaped the staging, the comic rhythm and the look of the show alongside her fellow director.

Clarity

Colour-coded suspects

Each suspect wears their Cluedo colour, so the audience can track Plum, Green, Scarlett, Mustard, Peacock and White at a glance.

Space

One room, many scenes

A wood-panelled manor set with a working chandelier and doors for the entrances and exits farce depends on.

Ensemble

Big group moments

Line-ups and a dinner-party scene that put every suspect on stage at once, each with something to play.
