The aim

The aimGrow the membership and showcase the society across the university.
Timing

Be seen at the right moment

Freshers Week, term dates and big horror releases planned into the calendar ahead of time.

Events

Sell every night out

A poster for every screening and social, so each event looks worth leaving the house for.

Video

Cut through with motion

Short teasers and glitch-edit trailers built on what was trending that week.

Partners

Borrow an audience

Joint socials with other societies, like the Book & Film Society, to reach new students.

02

Research first

Every idea started with research: what horror fans were watching, which sounds and formats were trending on TikTok and Instagram, and what other societies were doing well. Ideas were pitched on monday.com with the hook, format and posting date, and approved by the committee before anything was made.
